- Primary school information evening: November (registration via the Europagymnasium Auhof website)
- Registration (in person at the school): 22 to 25 February 2027 (8:00 to 14:00) and 26 February 2027 (8:00 to 12:00)
- Language Check: 26 February 2027 (German 14:00, English 16:00)
- Parent and child interviews: 1 and 2 March 2027, each between 14:00 and 18:00

Thank you for your interest in the Linz International School Auhof. Registration is now closed, as all places have already been allocated. Unfortunately, we can no longer accept new applicants for Year 1 (Grade 5) for 2026-27.

International Applicants from Abroad
We reserve a number of places for international students, who are invited to a separate admissions process in June. Students who attend a primary school abroad and wish to enter Grade 5 (Year 1) can apply through the OpenApply online application system: OpenApply

Registration
Registration takes place in the secretariat of the Europagymnasium. When you register, you will receive an invitation to the Language Check and the parent and child interview.
The following is required for registration:
- End-of-year report (Jahreszeugnis) from the third year of primary school (original and copy)
- Mid-year report (Schulnachricht) from the fourth year of primary school (original and copy)
- Completed registration form from the Europagymnasium
- Registration certificate (Meldezettel) of the parents or guardians and the child (copy)
Language Check
Assessment of reading and writing skills
As part of the admissions process, students complete a Language Check to assess their reading and writing skills in their academic language. This assessment consists of various tasks that can be completed in either German or English.
Students read a text and answer comprehension questions on it. They also write a text based on a picture, a word prompt, or a short passage. This allows them to demonstrate their ability to set out their thoughts in a structured way, to express ideas clearly, and to apply their language skills coherently.
The language assessment helps us judge whether students have the language skills they need to follow the curriculum successfully, and whether additional language support might be beneficial.
The tasks should be familiar from primary school. Duration: 1 hour.
Parent and Child Interview
Times are arranged individually at registration. We look forward to getting to know you as parents and your child a little better. To this end, an interview is held with the team of teachers. Parents have their interview separately from their child, as the children answer questions and complete a group task in small groups.
Duration: 1 hour.
LISA Support Association and Membership Fee
Unlike many other international schools, LISA is run publicly rather than privately. To finance services that are not covered by the Austrian state, the LISA Support Association (Unterstützungsverein) was founded in 1992.
The Support Association manages the annual membership fee and sponsorship funds, which pay for books, teaching materials, assistant hours, and additional support courses, among other things.
On joining LISA, parents opt for membership of the Support Association. The membership fee is €700 per student per school year. For parents with more than one child at LISA, the membership fee for the second child is reduced to €600 per school year. Please note that in the case of admission or withdrawal during the school year, the membership fee for the semester that has begun is due in full.
