Invitation to the Walkathon – October 18th at 14:00

Dear Students, Parents, and Teachers,
We are excited to invite you to participate in this year’s Walkathon, a charity run to support Child Vision Nepal, taking place on October 18th at 14:00.
We are running to help 56 children in a leprosy village in Nepal who, due to their circumstances, are stigmatized and outcast. Without schooling and support, they face a bleak future, including the danger of human trafficking. For just €15 per month, we help provide a child with school meals, clothes, and access to education, giving them the opportunity to lead a self-determined life. Our goal is to raise awareness and funds to support these children through Child Vision Nepal.
It is an exciting opportunity to come together for a worthy cause while participating in a friendly competition. The main prize for the two winning classes is a day off for a school trip and a theme cake!
A group of our CAS students, parent representatives, and many generous volunteers are working behind the scenes to make this event possible.

Einladung zum Walkathon – 18. Oktober um 14:00 Uhr
Liebe Schüler:innen, Eltern und Lehrkräfte, wir freuen uns, Sie zur Teilnahme am diesjährigen Walkathon einladen zu dürfen, einem Wohltätigkeitslauf zur Unterstützung von Child Vision Nepal, der am 18. Oktober um 14:00 Uhr stattfindet.
Wir laufen, um 56 Kindern in einem Lepradorf in Nepal zu helfen, die aufgrund ihrer Lebensumstände stigmatisiert und ausgegrenzt sind. Ohne Schulbildung und Unterstützung haben sie eine düstere Zukunft vor sich, in der sie auch der Gefahr des Menschenhandels
ausgesetzt sind.
Für nur 15 € pro Monat kann ein Kind mit Schulmahlzeiten, Kleidung und Zugang zu Bildung versorgt werden und hat so die Möglichkeit, ein selbstbestimmtes Leben zu führen. Unser Ziel ist es, das Bewusstsein für diese Kinder zu schärfen und Geldmittel zu sammeln, um diese Kinder durch Child Vision Nepal zu unterstützen.
Es ist eine großartige Gelegenheit, sich gemeinsam für einen guten Zweck einzusetzen und gleichzeitig an einem freundschaftlichen Wettbewerb teilzunehmen. Der Hauptpreis für die beiden Gewinnerklassen ist ein unterrichtsfreier Tag für einen Schulausflug und ein Themenkuchen!
Eine Gruppe unserer CAS-Schüler:innen, Elternvertreter:innen und viele großzügige Freiwillige arbeiten hinter den Kulissen, um diese Veranstaltung zu ermöglichen. Ihre Teilnahme und Ihre Spenden können viel bewirken! Wir freuen uns darauf, Sie am 4. Oktober zu sehen!
